The Marriage Course was developed in 1996 by Nicky and Sila Lee. They have been married for over thirty years, have four children and are on the staff at Holy Trinity Brompton - the London church that started the Alpha course. The courses continue to spread with thousands now running around the world.

They have spoken to thousands on the subject of marriage and are the co-authors of The Marriage Book which has sold over 52,000 copies since it was published in 2000. They run The Marriage Course three times a year at Holy Trinity Brompton with around 100 couples on each course.

The Marriage Course at Thornton Methodist Church starts on Thursday 25th February 2010 and continues on 4 March; 11 March; 18 March; 1 April; concluding 22 April. 7.00pm - 9.30pm. The cost is £5 per session per couple, plus an additional £5 at session 1 for the guest manuals. Price includes a meal.
